OUR PROCESS
Consultation & Customization
Our process begins with a detailed consultation. We work closely with you to choose the best flooring solution that meets your specific needs and budget. Whether you’re looking for a residential, commercial, or industrial floor, we tailor our approach to deliver the best results.
Surface Preparation
Proper surface preparation is critical for the longevity of your floor. We combine diamond grinding and shot blasting to achieve a Concrete Surface Profile (CSP) of 3. This creates an optimal surface for adhesion, ensuring that the epoxy bonds effectively with the concrete. By establishing a strong foundation, we maximize the durability of your floor and protect your investment.
Crack Repair
Before applying any coatings, we address all imperfections in the substrate. We fill in cracks and grind them smooth, creating a seamless surface. This step is essential for achieving a flawless finish and preventing future issues.
Prime Coat Application
Next, we apply a prime coat tailored to your chosen flooring system—flakes, quartz, or metallic. The type of prime coat we use depends on the condition of the substrate. For some floors, additional attention, such as excessive crack repair or the application of a moisture barrier epoxy may be necessary to ensure the best results.
Body Coat Application
Once the prime coat is set, we move on to the body coat. This is where your chosen system—flakes, quartz, or metallic—comes to life. We offer a wide range of options to ensure that your floor not only performs well but also looks exactly how you envisioned it.
Protective “Poly” Coat
The final step in our process is applying a protective polyaspartic or polyurethane coat . This layer is crucial as it minimizes wear and tear, offering significantly more scratch resistance and UV protection than epoxy alone. The choice between polyaspartic and polyurethane is situational, based on the specific needs of your space.
